Dan Moody, 78, of Center, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 in Carthage. He was born December 13, 1930 in Shelby County to Elton Milford Moody and Eldora Peacock Moody. He was an avid lifelong fox hunter and a well known BBQ connoisseur for a number of years. Mr. Moody was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Center.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 16, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Buddy Gray and Bro. Johnny Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Brad Moody, Donnie Moody, Rick Foehner, Will Blackwell, Dustin Bloodgood, Austin Bloodgood, Justin Bloodgood and Cade Foehner.
