Dan H. Beard, 63, of Center, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1948 in Timpson to Wilburn Beard and Ester Kirk Beard. Mr. Beard served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Moose Lodge.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 27, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. John B. Richardson officiating. A Military Honors Graveside will follow at Cold Springs Cemetery in Garrison under the direction of VFW Post #8904.

Pallbearers will be Cody Dawson, Casey Robison, Jimmy Anderson II, Wesley Flournoy, Darrell Robison and Bret Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Bridges, David Beard, Roger Beard and Smokey Beard.
