Dallon Permenter , 86, of Center, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020, in Center.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.

Born November 26, 1933, in Center, Dallon is the son of the late Waymon Deon Permenter and Bonnie Lee Samford Taylor. He worked as a homebuilder, having built hundreds of homes in the Beaumont area. He also served in City Administration for the City of Center, during which time he assisted in designing the John D. Windham Civic Center and several other buildings in the area.

He is survived by his sons, Mark Permenter of Center and Duke Permenter and wife Marie of Beaumont; daughter, Debbie Stanford and husband Tommy of Beaumont; grandchildren, Ryan Permenter of Florida, Robert Becks of Center, Dallon Becks of Vidor, Katie King, and Josh Permenter; great grandchildren, Michael and Avery Becks of Center, Mallory and Gregory of Vidor, Luke Permenter of Galveston, and Rylee and Kaylee King.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Permenter; and his parents, Waymon Deon Permenter and Bonnie Lee Samford Taylor.
