Cooper Brittian Porter , 73, of Lufkin, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Lufkin.  He was born January 26, 1940 in Tenaha to John Rogers Porter Sr. and Cynthia Elizabeth Brittain Porter.  Mr. Porter served in the United States Army. He attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Lufkin.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Pat Windham and Bro. Steve Killam officiating.  Interment will follow at Folsom Chapel Cemetery in Center.  Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Porter, Chance Porter, David Firesheets, Shane Hagler and John Richards.
