Connie Faye Taylor Hargrove , 65, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, in Center.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 15, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation one hour prior.  Bro. Larry Chandler will officiate.  Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.

Born May 14, 1955, in Pineland, Connie is the daughter of Bill Taylor and Verna Smith Taylor.  She played college basketball, was involved in Shelbyville sports, and loved deer hunting.  Connie was a member of Hawthorne Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by husband, Johnny Hargrove of Shelbyville; children, Kim Hargrove Bridges of Center, Jessica Hargrove of Shelbyville, and Jared Hargrove and Felicia of San Augustine; grandkids, Amanda and Cody Miller of Center, Kasey Hargrove Chambliss and Robbie of Tenaha, Richard Sharp Jr. of Joaquin, Jerrick Hargrove of Shelbyville; great grandkids, Klayton Lewis, Bailey Miller, Christian Lewis, Blayne Miller, Paislee Sharp, Knox Miller, Wesley Chambliss, Preston Chambliss, and Emily Chambliss; siblings, Paul and Cathy Taylor, Joe and Jean Taylor, Linda and Roger Wagstaff, and Monte and Donna Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Frankie Fitzgerald.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Hargrove Sharp and husband Richard; son, John Hargrove; parents, Bill Taylor and Verna Smith Taylor; siblings, Tommy Taylor, Billie Taylor King, and Dean Chance.

Pallbearers will be Joey Lawson, Greg McDonald, Blake Deal, Blane Deal, Carlos Taylor, Allen Weeks, Richard Sharp Jr. and Michael Bill Taylor.  Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Chance, Robbie Chambliss, Rhett Jones, and Cody Miller.
