Clem Wilton (Willie) Patterson, the sixth of 13 children born to Harvey Richard and Bettie Marshall Patterson, passed away August 14, 2012 in Center, TX.  He was born on September 24, 1925 in Floyd County, TX and grew up on a farm near Floydada, TX.  He enjoyed a full life with his late wife, Benevee (Bea) Boyd and his seven children.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers Melvin, Marshall, Russell, Bobby, and Charles Patterson; sister Bernita Campbell; and grand-daughter Brittany Patterson.

He is survived by sisters: Nellie Jo Kimball of Ft Worth, TX; Mattie Taylor of Brownsville, TX; Myrtle Finley of Lubbock, TX; Charlene Whitfill of Snyder, TX; Mary Pierce of Crosbyton, TX; brother Jerry Patterson of Grant's Pass, Oregon; children:  Willie Ray & Leola Patterson of Fort Sumner, New Mexico; Randy & JoAnn Patterson of Tenaha, TX;  Charles & Debra Patterson of Plainview, TX; Pamala & Katsumi Metz of Graham, Washington; Millard & Sarah Patterson of Round Rock, TX; Scott & Dana Patterson of Las Animas, Colorado; Tim & Rhonda Patterson of Tenaha, TX; along with 16 grandkids and 18 great grandkids.

Willie will be laid to rest next to his beloved Bea at graveside services held in Vernon, TX at Wilbarger Memorial Park August 23, 2012 at 2 pm.
