Claxton Yeager, 84, of Center, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Tyler. He was born March 28, 1926 in Nacogdoches to Alvin C. Yeager and Lena Smith Yeager. Mr. Yeager retired with 43 years service from Otis Elevator Company. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Yeager was also a member of Walter M. Pierson Masonic Lodge #1339 in Houston.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 18, 2011 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bishop James Nicholas officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Pallbearers will be Edwin K Yeager, Claxton L. Yeager, Quinton R. Yeager, Josh Plaisance, Edwin K. Yeager Jr. and Jerry Clevenger.
