Cindy Jackson Sholar, 59, of Shelbyville, passed away November 18, 2022, in Nacogdoches.

Funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center with internment following at Liberty Hill Cemetery in San Augustine. Visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Bro. Steven Berry, Bro. Lamar Denby, and Bro. Rodney Clyde will be officiating.

Born August 6, 1963, in Center, Texas, Cindy is the daughter of Murl Jackson and Robbie Wilburn Ash. Cindy was an ancillary coordinator for nursing homes for 17 years. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, swimming, playing 42, and playing cards. Cindy loved spending time with her grandkids, family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Michael Brandon Jackson, Nikki Postell and husband Benjamin, Meeghan Ray and husband Shane, Tim McCann, Richard Sholar Jr. and wife Bresha, Lacy Sholar, Heather Glenn and husband Cary, Heath Sholar and wife Monica; grandchildren, Karma Sholar, Chadly Fleming, Alexis Maddox and husband Elvis, Avery Lawrence, Alexandra Postell, Jalen Postell, Jordan Postell, Destiny McCann, Seth Ray, Trinity Ray, Rilee Sholar, Carter Sholar, Konlee Sholar, Tenley Sholar, Tessa Sholar, Taelyn Sholar, Angel Ray, Teegan McCann, and Cydni Glenn; great grandchildren, Everett, Zane, Annie, and Stella; brother, Roger Jackson and wife Charlene; father of the Sholars, Richard Sholar Sr.; special friends, Wanda Mote, Jackie Wright, Darlene Smith, Nong Cliffton, Suzie & Floyd Blackman, Sue Jenkins, and Walter Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her grand baby, Richard "Trip" Sholar III; parents, Murl Jackson & Robbie Wilburn Ash; grandparents, Tassie & Pete Rice, W.H. & Viola Jackson; and nephew Cade Jackson.

Pallbearers will be James Jones, Wyatt Windham, Blake Jackson, Matthew Miller, Nathan Cryier, John Roger Jackson, James Mangan, and Bubba John Sholar.
