Christene Parker Parrott, 77, of Tenaha, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Shelby Regional Medical Center ER. She was born in Center on December 2, 1933 to Dewie Parker and Gladys Folsom Parker.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Wyck Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Pallbearers will be Michael Parker, Greg Parker, Mark Ivey, Kenneth Wilson, Scott Ivey and Marcel Montferrand.

She is survived by:

Husband, George Allen Parrott of Tenaha

Son, Allen Ray Parrott and wife, Michele of Cypress

Daughter, Pamela Gail Montferrand and husband, Marcel of Sugarland

Three grandchildren:
Mark Harden, Travis Parrott and Lauren Parrott

Sister, Sara Parker Meredith and husband, Mac of Lindale
