Chester Harper, 61, of Joaquin, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born April 21, 1947 in Dewitt, Arkansas to Willard L. Harper, Sr. and Catherine Denise Connor Harper. Chester loved his family. He also loved to hunt and fish.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, March 6th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 7th at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Luke Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Harper Hill Cemetery in Joaquin.

Pallbearers will be Chris Giddens, Johnny Henley, Chris Henley, Michael Paul Kay, Chad Smith, Anthony Whittaker, Quinton Thompson, Tracy Henley and Dennis Henley.
