Charlie Lee Walling , 73, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, in Tyler.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Mike Oliver officiating.

Born February 29, 1948, in Crockett, Charlie is the son of Edwin Walling and Betty Joe Frizzell.  He served in the United States Marine Corps and later worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Resa Jane Walling; sons, Jeffery Walling and wife Angela and Charlie Lee Walling Jr.; grandchildren, Samantha Jade Murphey, Trevor Dale Raybon, and Cameron Kyle Carroll; sister, Geneva Walling; and brothers, Lee Walling and Dewayne Walling.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Walling and Betty Joe Frizzell; and brothers and sisters, Richard Walling, James Walling, Diane Frizzell, and Billy Frizzell.
