Charlie Sharp Sr. , 63, of Joaquin, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, in Joaquin.

Visitation to be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Brookland Cemetery in Joaquin.  Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. following visitation.

Born July 25, 1959, in Crockett, Texas, Charlie is the son of Georgia Mae Evans. He worked in the oilfield and was also a carpenter. He enjoyed joking around with his friends and family, and loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his children, Crissy Braack and husband Robert, Chad Sharp, Stacy Sharp, and Brad Smith; nieces and nephews, Jeff Sharp, Richard Sharp Jr., Jimmy Sharp, Danyel Sledge, Deena Bossier, and Kasey Chambliss, numerous grandchildren and other family.

Preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Smith Sharp, son, Charlie Sharp Jr., mother, Georgia Mae Evans, brothers, Jimmy Sharp, and Richard Sharp; and Andy Gibbs Sr.
