Charles Ray "Charlie" Brittain, 83, of Center, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 in Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2016, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev, Karen Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
Mr. Brittain was born August 2, 1932 in Center to Lee Brittain and Leva Marie Fleming Brittain. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Brittain worked as a golf pro. He was a member of the Center First United Methodist Church and the "Morning Coffee Club".
