Obituary

Charlcye Parker Menefee , 86, of Tenaha, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Briarcliff Skilled Nursing Facility in Carthage. She was born March 20, 1926 in Tenaha to Ford and Bessie Parker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tenaha.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Tenaha. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Claud Taylor and Bro. Lamar Rash officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Tenaha.

Pallbearers will be Greg Covington, Dr. Kip Menefee, Chad Menefee, Bob Parker, Brack Harrison and Bob Browning.

She is survived by

Joe Menefee and wife, Donna of Mt. Pleasant

Mitch Menefee and wife, Shannon of Tenaha

Daughter: Melissa Covington and husband, James of Nacogdoches

Daughter-in-law: Peggy Menefee of Mt. Pleasant

Fifteen Great Grandchildren

One Great Great Grandchild

Brother: Dick Parker of Tenaha
