Buck Davis , 91, of Center, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019, in Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Rusty Hall officiating.  Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.

Mr. Davis was born February 16, 1928, in Huxley, to Herman Davis and Annie Campbell Davis.  He retired from Shelbyville ISD and was a member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Huxley.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mae Davis; children, Lynn Davis and wife Yolanda, Joyce Dean and husband Junior, and Howard Davis and wife Patty; grandchildren, Tim Parker and wife Emily, Brittany Foster and husband Matt, Josh Davis and wife Lindsay, and Clay Dean; great grandchildren, Roman and Ivy Foster, Raylee and Hayes Davis, and Carson and Case Parker.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Annie Davis; sisters and brother, Grace Hutto, Nathaleen Duncan, Bonnie Belrose, Barbara Graves, Billy Davis, and Joy Oswalt.

Pallbearers will be Billy Davis, Sonny Davis, Steve Holloway, Matt Foster, Timothy Parker, and Josh Davis.  Honorary pallbearers will be Carson Parker, Roman Foster, Clay Dean, John Koltonski, and Danny Scarborough.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Huxley.
