Brenda Joyce York , 65, of Center, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 , in Center .

Brenda's wishes were to be cremated, and a memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Ramah Cemetery in Tenaha.

Born October 26, 1955, in Center, Brenda is the daughter of the late Eddie Dalton Smith S r. and Edith Hammer Smith . Sh e worked as a cashier . She was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Neches.

She is survived by her h usband, Robert York of Center ; daughters, Candy Rhodes of Center, Connie Bowman and husband Bryan of Virginia, and Katelyn York of Center; sons, Corey York and wife Laela of Center, and Charles Allan Railey of Center; sisters, Marie Perry and husband Harry of Joaquin, Denic e Dement and husband Ray of Crosby, Linda Parr of Bastrop , and Penny Smith of Center ; brother s , Jimmy Smith of Oklahoma, and Dalton Smith and wife Diane of Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Dalton Smith S r. and Edith Hammer Smith ; brothers , Ricky Smith, and Rocky Smith; sister, Donnie Rowan .
