Bobby L. Stanley, 80, of Center, passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at Nacogdoches Medical Center. He was born August 13, 1929 in San Augustine to Ira "Doc" Stanley and Bertie Mae McBride Stanley. He served in the US Army from 1947 - 1949 and was a member of Spann's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Carroll Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Spann's Chapel Cemetery.
