Obituary

Bobbie Sue Nichols , 78, of Center, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Watson & Sons
Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 24th with Bro. Billy Windham
and Bro. Donald Earl Windham officiating. Interment will follow at West Hamilton Cemetery in Shelby
County.

Bobbie was born February 26, 1943. She is the daughter of Thomas Daniel Windham and Artie B
Risinger Windham. Bobbie loved her family, she was a homemaker, and was a wonderful mother, sister,
beloved grandmother, and a good friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed sewing blankets for her great
grandkids, caring for her rose bushes, playing spades on her computer, cooking, and caring for her
cockatiels. Bobbie loved her grandkids and great grandkids with all of her heart. She was a member of
Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Center.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 62 years, John Henry Nichols of Center;
children, Freeman Nichols of Center, Mike Nichols and wife Beth of Center, and Leslie Schulz and
husband Travis of Center; grandchildren, Megan Adkinson and husband Marcus of Center, Cody Nichols
and wife Holly of Center, Derek Nichols and wife Jenny of Center, Cody Nichols and wife Holly of
Hudson, Ashley Latham and husband Bryant of Slocum, Kaley Pigg and husband Neil of Appleby,
Michaela Schulz of Center, and Taylor Hairgrove and husband Wyatt of Joaquin; great grandchildren,
Deacon and Olivia Anthony, Rhett, Shaun, Kolton, Cody, and Karson Adkinson, Easton and Kannon
Latham, Laityn Nichols, Case and Caroline Nichols, Makinley and Lane Pigg, and Baby A; sister, Margie
Williams Weaver of Lufkin; brothers, Max Windham of Shelbyville and Leon Windham and wife Cathy of
Timpson.

Preceded in death by parents, Thomas Daniel Windham and Artie B Risinger Windham; and brothers,
Everett Windham, Dan Windham, Tom Windham, Elvin Windham, and Jack Windham.
Pallbearers will be Derek Nichols, Cody Nichols, Marcus Adkinson, Bryant Latham, Roy Bailey, and Kevin
Windham.
