Billy Wayne "Wild Bill" Gattis , 65, of Joaquin, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Joaquin with Bro. Jeff Spring and Bro. Mark Woolf officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, beginning at 12:00 noon.

Mr. Gattis was born February 24, 1951, in Jacksonville, to George Stokes Gattis and Fannie Flora Atkerson Gattis. He loved fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
