Billy Freeman, 81, of Tenaha, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Joaquin on May 8, 1930 to L.L. Freeman and Britt Annie Nunley Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a coach and teacher in Desoto Parish for forty-four years and a United Methodist Minister for twenty-three years.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Harold Hansen and Bro. Elmer Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Joaquin Cemetery in Joaquin.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Freeman, Chris Freeman, Jason Freeman, John Paul Freeman, Andrew King and Aaron King. Honorary pallbearers will be the Joaquin Class of 1948.
