Billy Ferguson , 67, of Garrison, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019, in Nacogdoches.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2019, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Garrison with Bro. Cookie Fitzgerald officiating.

Mr. Ferguson was born November 2, 1951, in Garrison, to Powel James Ferguson and Betty Louise Clifton Ferguson.  He loved his children and his family.  Mr. Ferguson attended First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Etta Ferguson of Nacogdoches; brother, Willis Ferguson and wife Joyce of Garrison; sisters, Nancy Ferguson of Etoile, Melanie Ferguson of Etoile, and Fran Fitzgerald and husband Cookie of Chireno; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his children, Vanessa J. Ferguson and Billy Joseph Ferguson; parents, Powel James Ferguson and Betty Louise Clifton Ferguson; brothers, James Ferguson and Rolin Ferguson; and sisters, Mattie McCarty and Betty Jernigan.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Fitzgerald, Jack Brittain, Willis Ferguson Jr., Michael Adkinson, Marcus Adkinson, and Brandon Lawson.
