Billie Jordan, 88, of Joaquin, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Shelby Regional Medical Center. She was born March 11, 1922 in Logan, Louisiana to John and Ida Ramsey. Ms. Jordan was a member of First Methodist Church in Joaquin. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and had been a past Worthy Matron.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Elmer Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Pallbearers will be Jason Jordan, Jason Fisher, Elan Watson, Bubba Lee, Kevin Holt, and Matt Jordan. Honorary pallbearer will be Charlie Leflett.
