Bib Dean, 78, of Shelbyville, passed away on October 12, 2011 at Huntington Healthcare Center. He was born in Shelby County on January 15, 1933 to Sambo Dean and Essie Tindol Dean. Mr. Dean was a member and Past Master of the Sam Houston Masonic Lodge #32 in Shelbyville and a member of the Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Huxley.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Wayne Bickley officiating. A Masonic graveside service will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Furlow, Mike Furlow, Jeffery Sims, Dewayne Lout, Paul Taylor and George Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Vaughn, Dexter Vaughn, Sam Houston Masonic Lodge #32, Sharon Shrine Temple and W.J. Goings.
