She was born February 15, 1934 in Houston to Oran O'Neil and Willie Mae Mosley Ross. Moma married Daddy, Nathan F. Posey, on September 11, 1948, when she was only 14 years old. To this marriage, four children were born. They shared 61 years together. She was a great help to N.F. during the time they owned and operated Joaquin Construction Company. Moma was the one always running to pick up building supplies, as well as keeping the books. She drove a school bus for Joaquin ISD for a short time. Among her favorite pastimes, were dominos, camping, being on the houseboat fishing and her flowers. But her greatest joy was being with her family. Moma was a very strong person, going through and surviving cancer. She always put her illness second, so that she could be there when we needed her. Moma instilled this in all of us.
