Betty Glaze , 84, of Stonewall, Louisiana, formerly of the Paxton Community of Shelby County, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, Texas, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Joaquin, Texas.

Born February 13, 1941, Betty is the daughter of Oca Moody and Dena Harvey Moody. Known as Granny to her loved ones, she enjoyed playing dominos and Rummikub.  She was an extraordinary cook.  You never left her house hungry.  Granny had a servant's heart and loved to do for others.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina and husband Darien Greer; bonus daughter, Mary and husband Mike Orr; grandchildren, Michael Moore, Kelly and husband Taylor Ritter, Macie and husband Josh Tristan, Kolten Greer and wife Camille, Shaena and husband Matt Osteen, and Tricia Wright and her husband; great grandchildren, Maisyn, Kaden, Mikah, Aubree, Annzlee, Beau, Sutton, Harper, Anna Kate, Karsyn, Ava, Sawyer, and soon-to-be baby Blayne; special nieces, Tina and husband David Graves and Angie Burford; and sister-in-law, Debbie and husband Tim Runnels.

Preceded in death by her husband, James Glaze; husband, Clovis Goings; parents, Oca Moody and Dena Harvey Moody; brother, Bob Moody; and sister-in-law, Betty Moody.

Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Kolten Greer, Kaden Ritter, Beau Moore, Taylor Ritter, and Josh Tristan.
