Bertha Olene Henderson , 85, of Center, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2015 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Michael Joe Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Mrs. Henderson was born September 12, 1929, in Center, to Dandy Horton Byford and Nora Ruth Anderson Byford. She retired from Pasadena ISD in May of 1986. Mrs. Henderson and her husband travelled extensively throughout the United States and Canada.

She is survived by

Shirley Russom and husband, Charlie, of Arlington
Douglas Henderson and wife, Wanda, of League City
Kathryn Trejo of Pasadena
