Obituary

Bernice N. Brittain, 79, of Center, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at her home. She was born July 14, 1929 in the East Hamilton Community of Shelby County to Sam Coleman Nichols and Della Gotchie Nichols. Ms. Brittain was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, March 4 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 5 at East Hamilton Cemetery in Shelbyville with Bro. Ron Luman officiating.

Pallbearers will be Gene Gray, John Drennon Yarborough, Scott Yarborough, Andy Castleberry, Shad Lout, Nicky Wiggins, Joe Yarborough and David Spratley. Honorary pallbearer will be Jack Lout.
