Barbara J. Yates, 64, of Center, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 in Center. She was born April 26, 1946 in Center to Dave Barton and Jean Henry Barton. Mrs. Yates was a 29 year associate for Wal-Mart and had most recently been a Customer Service Manager. She was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, September 17, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Chris Collins and Bro. Henry Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
