Barbara Jean Ross , 76, of Center, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Center.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2025, at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.  Bro. Gordon Vaughn will officiate.

Born October 4, 1948, in Shelby County, Barbara is the daughter of S. L. Dean and Essie Tindol Dean.  She was a member of Neuville Baptist Church in Shelby County.

She is survived by son, Eric Arvin Lane of Louisiana; daughter, Maggie Michelle Linstead and significant other Kelly Hobbs of Oregon; nine grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Billy Don Ross; parents, S. L. Dean and Essie Tindol Dean; and three siblings.
