Audrey Taylor, 101, of Center, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Center.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.  Bro. Gordon Vaughn will officiate.

Born August 26, 1922, in Shelby County, Audrey is the daughter of Eddie Watson and Ona Brown Watson. On February 17, 1940, Audrey married the love of her life, William Ramsey Taylor, and the two were married for 47 years.  Audrey loved flowers, working in her yard, and her church family at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Chris Taylor and wife Cyndi; grandsons, Dusty Taylor and Cody Taylor and wife Elissa; great grandchildren, Kypton Taylor and Madyx Taylor; special nieces, Olivia Deaton and husband Charles and Linda Hannah and husband Mike; great niece, Michelle Deaton.

Preceded in death by husband, William Ramsey Taylor; parents, Eddie Watson and Ona Brown Watson; sisters, Iris Taylor, Verna Hull, and Ruth Auberry; and brother, W.C. Watson.
