Arlene Lefevre , 98, of Center, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017, in Center.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Mardy Guidry and Bro. Lee Guidry, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Center.

Mrs. Lefevre was born June 25, 1918, in Center, to John Carroll Ross and Emma Olevia Squires Ross. She worked as a nurse's aide for many years, at which her starting wage was $1.00 per hour. Mrs. Lefevre was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Golden Harvest Club and Golden Harvest Singers.

Barbara Ann Knight and husband, Courtland, of Lockport, Louisiana

Son: Ira Lefevre and wife, Mary, of New Iberia, Louisiana
