Annice Monroe, 90, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008, at a San Augustine nursing home. She was born July 4, 1918 in Daingerfield to Griff Cason & Lona Williams Cason. Ms. Monroe was a member of the Retired Teacher's Association. She was also a member of Patroon Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, September 9 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at Watson & Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Patroon Cemetery in Center.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Donna Monroe of Shelbyville
