A. M. "Shad" Shadowens, 95, of Center, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011. He was born June 7, 1914 in Panola County to Monroe C. Shadowens and Cora Force Shadowens. Mr. Shadowens was a member of North Jericho Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 7, 2011 at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with Bro. Jim Moss and Bro. Bennie Boles officiating.

He is survived by:
