Agnes Mae Ansley Peavy , 84, of the McClelland Community of Shelby County, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018, in Houston.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 21, at McClelland Church in Shelbyville. Interment will follow at McClelland Cemetery in Shelby County.

Mrs. Peavy was born December 17, 1933, to Bertis Edward Ansley and Lillie Mae Collins Ansley. She was a member of McClelland Church.

She is survived by sons, Randy Peavy of Huffman, Gordon Peavy and wife Jinjr of Huntsville; grandchildren, Chris Peavy of Conroe, Holly Peavy Yaple and husband Ray of Deer Park; great grandchildren, Morgan Yaple, Reese Yaple, Laylah Bender; brothers, Gene Edward Ansley, Lenard Ray Ansley; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by husband, Herbert Alfred Peavy; parents, Bertis Edward Ansley and Lillie Mae Collins Ansley; brother, Glenn Waymond Ansley.

Pallbearers will be Chris Peavy, Ray Yaple, Hollis Peavy, Reece Mathews, Corey Collins, John Collins and Brian Collins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to McClelland Church Fund.
