Addie Johnson, 94, of Center, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009 in a local nursing center. She was born December 2, 1914 in Center to Mack Gillis and Anzania Strahan Gillis. Ms. Johnson was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Spann's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Ms. Johnson's grandsons; Ronnie Youngblood, Puncho Elliott, Carlton Harkness, Steven Harkness, Brian Harkness, Koby Youngbloo, Justin HArkness and Michael Elliott.
