A.M. "Bo" Scott Jr., 85, of Center, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, in Nacogdoches.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Tim Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at Old Salem Cemetery in Shelby County.

Mr. Scott was born November 7, 1930, in Center, to Audrey M. Scott and Zina M. Fountain Scott. He served in the United States Army, where he retired after 20 years of service. Following his retirement from the Army, Mr. Scott worked as a policeman and a fireman for the City of Center for 22 years. He loved cooking and was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed taking care of his livestock.

Step Daughter: Terry Hughes and husband, Eddie, of De Queen, Arkansas

Step Son: Steve Glaze and wife, Sue, of Tennessee
